The Cabinet of Ministers supported the proposal of the Ministry of Social Policy and extended the terms of using assistance of UAH 1,000 within the framework of the “Winter Support” program from December 15 to the end of February 2026.

Recipients of pensions and social benefits through Ukrposhta, for whom the payment was generated automatically, and those who independently filled out the application at the branches, will be able to spend the thousand until the end of February 2026 – now the deadline is the same for both categories. Previously, it was assumed that the funds could be spent only during December 2025 and during January 2026, respectively.

As of December 10, more than 16 million applications have been submitted, of which almost 13 million are online.
The Cabinet of Ministers also extended “Natskeshbek” and “Winter support” until the middle of 2026.
More than a million citizens of Ukraine have already issued a payment within the framework of the state program “Winter Support 2025” through Ukrposhta.
