According to the decision, about Family assistance was made by the members of the families of fallen defenders, namely volunteers who, in cooperation with the Armed Forces, other military formations and law enforcement agencies, participated directly in the reconciliation of armed aggression Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Payments are made to the families of volunteers who died in the period:
- from 24.02.2022 to 25.03.2022 – without clarification of the territory of death;
- From 26.03.2022 – if the person is killed in the territory of the fighting (according to the official list).
The total amount is 15 million UAH per family. Payment is made in stages:
- 1/5 – immediately;
- 4/5 – equal parts for 40 months.
If the family is entitled to several types of assistance, it can choose the most profitable. While the proportion of the person who refused payment is distributed among others.
Earlier in Ukraine increased The amount of payment of volunteer defenders from 2 361 to UAH 7,800 per minor and up to 6 100 UAH for each, if the family has two or more children.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law on additional payments of the instructor and teaching staff of higher military educational institutions and their structural units. They will additionally receive from 15 to 30 thousand UAH .
