The government revealed the names of representatives of the competition commission, which will elect the head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine within the framework of comprehensive customs reform.
This was reported by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
According to her, three representatives of Ukrainian business and three international experts in anti -corruption and customs areas were included in the competition commission.
From Ukraine to the Commission included:

Andriy Yerasov – Head of the Analytical Center of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (soup);

Dmitry Oliynyk – Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine;

Oleg Timkov – Director of Business Development, Audit firm Moor Stevens.
From international partners:

Arunas Adomenas – Lithuanian Customs Attaché with the EU, customs policy expert and international cooperation;

David Bernstin is an expert on government and institutional reforms;

Kunio Mikuria is an international customs policy expert, trade promotion and organizational leadership.
It should be noted that the customs reform law was adopted in the Verkhovna Rada last fall. At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also signed it.
In particular, the restart provides a transparent competition for the post of head of the State Customs Service with the participation of international organizations, as well as a re -certification for all employees within 18 months for the appointment of a new head.
The law ensures the political independence of the head of the LCA, as the release will be held at the audit.
Recall that during January-September 2024 Customs officers found 7 259 violations of the rules for UAH 17 billion.
During January-September 2024 in Ukraine imported goods worth $ 51.2 billion from China, Poland and Germany, reported in the State Customs Service.
