The Cabinet of Ministers decided to dismiss Oleksandr Bilchuk from the position of the head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine on the basis of Government Order No. 1225.
The document refers to the completion of the disciplinary procedure that began after his suspension from duties in August.
Then the commission on issues of the higher body of the civil service instructed to conduct an official investigation into the work of the official.
The formal result of this proceeding was the termination of Bilchuk’s powers as head of the State Aviation Service.
Daniil Menshikov, who previously worked as the deputy head of the department for digitalization, is temporarily acting as the head of the State Aviation Service.
He was born in St. Petersburg, and in 2012 he graduated from Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin.
In 2013–2015, Menshikov worked in the patronage service of the Minister of Strategic Industry, and in 2019 he moved to the Customs Service. Later, he joined the management team of the State Aviation Service, where he was responsible for the direction of digital solutions.
It will be recalled that the government removed Galushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice.
