The Cabinet of Ministers supported the liquidation of the body of the Commission on the regulation of gambling and lotteries. The Pleititi State Agency will be engaged in this market.

“We launch a new stage of gambling regulation in Ukraine. We eliminate the downs as an ineffective body and launch the Pleisiti State Agency, which will coordinate the Ministry of Defense and control the gambling market and lotteries, ”the statement said.
Among the priority tasks of Pleititi will be:
- digitalize the process of issuing licenses to create uniform transparent rules for all market players;
- to introduce tools for controlling the market and the fight against illegal casino;
- stimulate tax revenues from the legal market of casino and lotteries – the state can receive up to UAH 10 billion in taxes every year, which will be directed to the needs of defense forces;
- fight the casino with the Russian trace.
