Russian special services tried to organize a provocation against the head of the SBU Office in the Odesa region, Viktor Dorovskyi, and blackmailed his wife with invented compromising material.

According to the SBU, representatives of the FSB threatened to spread allegedly collected discrediting information about the official. To carry out the provocation, a representative of the Russian special service contacted Dorovsky’s wife, announcing the preparation of an information attack by the FSB.
Later, she offered to “stop” the discrediting campaign for a bribe. All these threats were recorded, as Viktor Dorovsky immediately reported the incident to the internal security unit of the SBU.
The Security Service clarified that on March 27, 2025, an unknown person informed the official’s wife via messenger about the preparation of an information attack by the FSB using Telegram channels and the media. The information provided did not correspond to reality.
Later, it was established that the calls were made by a representative of the FSB. During the conversation, she emphasized that the key goal of the special services of the Russian Federation is the dismissal of the SBU general from his position, which the FSB considers a “high result.”
At the same time, an employee of the Russian special service stated that she could “cancel” the IPSO by submitting an allegedly “correct” report to her management. For this, she demanded 250 thousand US dollars, which she insisted on transferring to a crypto wallet.
The SBU emphasized that the special services of the Russian Federation are trying to use the Ukrainian media “in the dark” to conduct informational and psychological operations. Journalists were urged to carefully check sources and information before publication so as not to spread Russian narratives.

The SBU also exposed nine organizers of mobilization evasion schemes.
