The French Embassy reacted to the death at work of a member of the board of “Ukrenergo”

The French Embassy in Ukraine expressed its reaction to the death of Oleksiy Brecht, a member of the board of Ukrenergo, who tragically died as a result of an accident at the workplace while restoring the well infrastructure after another insidious attack by Russian terrorists. The French Embassy in Ukraine expressed its reaction to the death of Oleksiy Brecht, a member of the board of Ukrenergo, who tragically died as a result of an accident at the workplace while restoring the well infrastructure after another insidious attack by Russian terrorists.

The French ambassador noted that he was shocked by the news of the death of Brecht, who is described by his colleagues as a unique specialist who played a key role in the inventive repair of power system facilities affected by Russian strikes.

He added that the tragic death of Brecht at one of the substations is evidence of the tireless and brave work of Ukrainian energy workers.

We will remind that on January 21, the former head of “Ukrenergo” Oleksiy Brecht died during the repair work.

The company confirmed that the tragedy occurred during work on the damaged infrastructure. Brecht was 47 years old, more than 24 of them he devoted to work at Ukrenergo.
