The Supreme Anti -Corruption Court approved an agreement on the recognition of guilty between the prosecutor and the exitator of one of the structures of the Ministry of Defense, which illegally seized the apartment worth UAH 3.8 million and did not declare property.
The former official was found guilty of two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-for misappropriation of military property with the use of office (Part 2 of Article 410) and failure to submit the declaration (Art. 366-3).
The court appointed him five years in prison with deprivation of the right to occupy senior positions during the year. At the same time, according to Art. 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the punishment was replaced by conditional, setting the annual exam.
According to the agreement, the apartment appropriated must be returned to state property. In addition, the convicted person must transfer UAH 750 thousand in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The sentence may be appealed to the WACS Appeal for 30 days.
