In Bukovina, an investigation into the case of the former Tereblechansky forestry official has been completed.

The man is accused of organizing the illegal crossing of the state border for conscripts. Investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation have submitted an indictment to the court, where the existent will be tried under Article 332 (332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the suspect used his official position and knowledge of the terrain to organize illegal crossings. He actively searched for “clients” among men who sought to avoid mobilization and offered them their services for 8 thousand euros.
The scheme of work was well thought out: the official personally transported the conscripts to the border area on his own car, bypassing the checkpoints of law enforcement. After that, he instructed clients in detail about the further crossing of the border.
The exliser’s criminal activity was exposed on August 29, 2024. On that day, the staff of the State Border Service detained it with two conscripts during an attempt to cross the border.
Already in early September, the DBR investigators declared the official about the suspicion, after which he was dismissed from the post in the forestry.
Now the former worker of Tereblechansky forestry faces up to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property. The procedural guidance in the case is carried out by the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Recall that the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR), with the assistance of the SBU, exposed on the bribe of the head of one of the units of the tax service of the Kirovograd region.
We also reported that the State Bureau of Investigation has completed the investigation of the scheme with the participation of the commander of the military unit, his deputy, as well as two entrepreneurs. They were exposed to the appropriation of generators for 5 million hryvnias that the Ukrainian military had to receive.
