The Foreign Ministry explained why Ukraine agreed to the 30-day truce

Ukraine has agreed to 30 days of ceasefire, as indefinitely threatens the transformation of the war into a frozen conflict. “Why such a temporary ceasefire is important – because this is in no way a frozen conflict. It is only an attempt to start the way to the end of the war in a fair way. It is also a step that demonstrates who is actually interested in peace, ”the Foreign Minister explained.

As a result of the negotiations in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine agreed to an immediate 30-day ceasefire, the United States also immediately restore weapons and exchange intelligence.

Now the United States will bring a proposal to the cessation of fire for 30 days to the Russian Federation. The ball is now on the side of Russia, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
