The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reported that the first Ukrainian Saturday and Sunday schools working abroad have been officially verified.
This allows the children of Ukrainian citizens who live outside the country, to study under the program of Ukrainian studies with official recognition of results in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Education and Science stressed that training in such schools will help children to keep in touch with Ukrainian education and culture.
“Such schools are not only lessons, but also live communication with peers, atmosphere of the Ukrainian community and preserve traditions. The Ukrainian language is compulsory for all students, ”the department said.
In the younger grades (1-4), Ukrainian content is presented together with the Ukrainian language through an integrated course “I explore the world”. Starting from grade 5, students study individual subjects – Ukrainian literature and history of Ukraine. Depending on the age, the program also includes geography, civic education and the subject of protection of Ukraine.
We will remind, students will be able to report bulling through the application “Dream”.
Lithuanian students will also learn how to collect and manage drones.
