On the evening of June 9, a grenade exploded in the Street near one of the local cafes in the Radsadiv community of the Nikolaev district.

As a result of this incident, a 64-year-old man was killed. His death came instantly, even before the arrival of doctors.
Among the victims was the 48-year-old wife of the deceased and his 37-year-old nephew. Both were serious injuries and were hospitalized at the hospital where they are provided with the necessary medical care.
In addition, another person, a 31-year-old familiar family, also injured, but refused hospitalization, deciding to stay at home.
According to preliminary police, the explosion occurred on the street, not indoors, which allowed to avoid even more victims. Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene where they conducted the inspection, seized the fragments of grenade and interviewed witnesses.
At the moment, the investigation is considering the main version – “premeditated murder”, in accordance with Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. All the circumstances of the tragedy and motives are revealed, the collection of evidence and the establishment of involved persons continues.

We have already reported that in Nizhyn, the Chernihiv region, a drunk man threw a grenade in the park, causing an explosion. There are no victims, the attacker was detained by police at the scene.
