“Actually, Kolomoiskyi’s only statement should be a confession and repentance before the people of Ukraine for the evil he has done. This is the kind of statement Ukrainians expect from Kolomoiskyi,” he wrote.
The expert emphasized that one of the accusations against Kolomoiskyi is contract murder. In particular, the expert recalled the order to kill a lawyer.
According to him, the investigation claims that the oligarch wanted to use a lawyer to change the documents on the shareholders’ meeting of the Zaporizhzhia combine “Dniprospetsstal” in his own interests, but he refused, for which he was killed.
Also, the expert noted, Kolomoiskyi, together with Bogolyubov, withdrew at least tens of billions of Ukrainian hryvnias through “Privatbank” through fraud.
“A month ago, the High Court of England found Kolomoiskyi guilty and ordered him to return $3 billion to Ukraine. Let me remind you that Privatbank once belonged to Kolomoiskyi, and if the state had not nationalized it, millions of Ukrainians would have lost their money and chaos would have begun,” he said.
In addition, the expert wrote, in the cases of “Ukrnafta” and “Ukrtatnafta” Kolomoiskyi took over UAH 3.3 billion. Here he is accused of misappropriation of property, illegal actions with bank documents, laundering of property obtained through criminal means, and official forgery.
Also, Posternak noted, Kolomoiskyi is wanted in the United States. The US Department of Justice, according to him, accuses the oligarch of using funds stolen from the bank to buy real estate and steel plants in the States (cases under the RICO law on organized crime).
“These are just some of the accusations from the time when Ukraine was drowning in the blood of its defenders, defending itself from Russia. All the crimes took place when the hometown of the oligarch Dnipro gradually became near the front and now hundreds of his compatriots are dying every month. These crimes are against the people of Ukraine,” he emphasized.
