This is reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.
SAP does not name the person involved, but, according to the RBC-Ukraine source, it is Borys Plotnytskyi, who previously headed the Western Commercial Court of Appeal.
Plotnitskyi resigned from his position this year. On August 15, his application was approved by the Supreme Council of Justice. He has been the chairman of the Western Commercial Court of Appeal since 2018.
As the NABU press service writes, it is about USD 1 million, which the businessman had to provide in exchange for the adoption of “necessary” decisions in court cases of the Western Commercial Court of Appeal, as well as a promise to prevent the murder planned by his opponents in the trial.
The bureau concluded that the circle of suspects in this case has expanded to three people. Two others, former heads of the Commercial Court of Lviv region, were informed of the suspicion on December 9.
Earlier, the Khmelnytskyi police detained the head of one of the medical and social examination centers for a bribe of over 200,000 hryvnias.
And a full video from the place of detention for a bribe of lawyer Oleksandr Sukhanov appeared on the network.
