European countries intensify Ukraine’s military support, seeking to strengthen its defense capability and make the country inaccessible to the aggressor.
About it reports The Economist.
The basic idea is to create a powerful defense system that would turn Ukraine into a “steel hedgehog” capable of effectively resisting any attempt at Russia’s invasion. For this purpose, European partners provide modern weapons, military equipment and conduct training of the Ukrainian military.
A key element of this strategy is the supply of modern air defense systems to Ukraine that will help protect critical infrastructure and civilian population from missile attacks.
In particular, it is about the transfer of air defense systems that have already demonstrated their effectiveness in reflecting Russian blows. In addition, Europe is actively working on the creation of long -term financing mechanisms to ensure a stable supply of weapons and ammunition.
Another important area is the modernization of the Ukrainian army by NATO standards. European instructors conduct training for the Ukrainian military, helping them to master the latest equipment and tactics of combat.
This allows Ukraine not only to defend itself more effectively, but also to gradually integrate into the Euro -Atlantic security space.
In addition to military assistance, Europe also supports Ukraine in the economic and humanitarian spheres. The restoration of the infrastructure destroyed as a result of the war remains one of the priorities of the international community.
The governments of European countries allocate considerable funds for the reconstruction of roads, bridges and energy objects, which are critical for the normal functioning of the state.
Recall that Ukraine is able to create nuclear weapons for 15 years, if favorable conditions, sufficient funding and political will.
We also reported that Polish President Andrzej Duda urged the United States to place its nuclear weapons in the Polish territory as a restraining factor against any future Russian aggression.
