The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine is preparing an experimental implementation of the eCherga electronic system for crossing the state border by passenger cars.
The pilot project is planned to be launched at one of the international checkpoints.
According to the new rules, car drivers will be able to reserve a place in the queue in one of three ways: through the eCherga web portal or application, through the Diya portal or application, or automatically when entering the waiting area. Queue control will be carried out through the Driver’s Office, where you can monitor the status of your seat, the time of entry and receive notifications of changes.
The experimental project will start after registration of the order by the Ministry of Justice and determination of the checkpoint that will participate. System scaling to other points will be possible subject to successful testing.
We will remind “Ukrtransbezpeka” simplified application creation system for carriers in the module “ 18-60 ” (“The Way”). Now it is necessary to do this only for those who are engaged in international transportation of passengers by private cars or taxis.
