Drone coalitions made a decision to allocate 20 million euros for the purchase of intelligence drones for a tactical level for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Monday, March 24.

They specified that the funds will be allocated from the joint fund of partner countries. Supply of equipment is expected for three months.

“We are grateful to our partners for responding to a critical need. Operational reaction and flexibility in making this decision are important, especially now that they are very needed by defense forces, ” – said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernoroenko.

She stressed that thanks to these drones, the Ukrainian military will be able to explore the terrain and raise situational awareness of units, which is important for successful fighting.

The Defense Ministry reminded that in February, a coalition of drones launched a third international tender on multi -tapping reconnaissance UAVs. It was also attended by Ukrainian developers. The first stage of selection is now ongoing.

The coalition of drones was formed in February 2024 during the 19th meeting in the format of Ramstein. Naraza includes: Latvia, United Kingdom, Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Estonia, Italy, Nova Zealand, Canada, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Netherlands, Netherlands, Netherlands.
