For his “services” the man asked 7 thousand euros.
“In particular, he handed over to the client the postal forms for a business trip with the seals of one of the law enforcement agencies,” the DBR said.
The data was inscribed to the documents so that the client could freely reach Chernivtsi, where he was met by a accomplice of the organizer – a local law enforcement officer. Having received 7 thousand euros, he reported the seeker that the border would need to be crossed outside the official checkpoints, noted in the DBR.

During searches in the car of the persons involved, law enforcement officers seized 17 copies of passports of potential customers.
“The organizer of the illegal channel was detained, he was informed about suspicion of desertion and illegal crossing of persons across the state border of Ukraine, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons (Part 4 of Article 408 and Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” – the message reads .
Articles’ sanctions provide for imprisonment for up to 12 years.
“His accomplice was informed of suspicion of illegally crossing persons across the state border of Ukraine, committed by a prior conspiracy by a group of persons (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” – added to the DBR.
Up to 9 years of imprisonment is threatened by the suspect.
