Odessa was presented with a suspicion of a man detained for the murder of activist Demyan Ganul.
This was announced by the pressecretic of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Southern Region Edward Pleshko.
According to him, in the afternoon on March 15, the man was presented with suspicion under paragraph 11 of Part 2 of Art. 115, Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – premeditated murder committed to order and illegal handling of weapons.
The prosecutor’s office asks the court to send him into custody without alternative to bail, Pleshko added.
We will remind that on March 14 in the center of Odessa shot a man. The police press service was not initially called the name of the deceased, but the People’s Deputy Goncharenko reported that it was an activist Demyan Ganul.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police conducted a joint special operation, during which the suspect in the murder of a public activist Demyan Ganul was detained.
A 46-year-old military man was a probable killer of Odessa activist Ganul, who left part of his part.
Law enforcement officers consider three main versions of the murder of activist Demyan Ganul in Odessa. Police do not exclude Russia’s involvement.
