The Verkhovna Rada supported in the first reading the bill №12349, which provides for the creation of a cyber forces in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is known that “for” voted 255 People’s Deputy, said the People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The explanatory note to the bill states that the creation of a military and technical organizational structure in the Armed Forces according to NATO standards, which will be responsible for the Cyeborobon of Ukraine, protection of its sovereignty and territorial integrity in cyberspace.
The primary task of Cyber forces of Ukraine will be the preparation and conduct of military measures from the Cyeroboron of the state, the protection of Ukraine’s sovereignty and inviolability in cyberspace or with its use.
It should be noted that cyberwar exists in more than 40 countries and this is part of a global trend in strengthening kibroborons.
According to the Minister of Defense Denis Shmigal, Kiebersil provides military cooperation with NATO and other partners to counteract common threats in cyberspace.
It is important that cyber forces will also be able to involve civilians who will not acquire the status of a serviceman and will perform tasks in accordance with the contract.
About creation The Cyber forces of the Armed Forces was discussed a year ago, in October 2024. Earlier President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Law No. 11507. The document provides for the inclusion of a new structure – forces of unmanned systems – forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
