The Economic Court of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has finally returned to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine more than 20 thousand hectares of forest lands, which have been illegally used for years. The estimated value of these lands is almost UAH 54 billion.

As established at the State Bureau of Investigation, in 2013, the Novomoskovsky military farm was transferred under the control of the State Forest Resources Agency, but the sites remained in the use of the defense department.

Over the following years, forestry officials without any legal documents allowed private companies to cut down the forest, which caused significant losses to the state.

We will remind, the State Bureau of Investigation submitted to the court the case against the former management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kiev.

The State Bureau of Investigation also continues systematic work to expose the shadow mechanisms in the gambling business related to the aggressor country.
