On the night of January 22, the Ukrainian military successfully repelled enemy attacks near the settlements of Shevchenko and Udachne. At the same time, according to the analytical project DeepState, Russian troops continue their offensive in other areas of the Donetsk region.
According to DeepState, the enemy advanced in the area of Velika Novosilka, Vozdvizhenka, Slovianka, and Srybny.
The Russian occupiers are trying to seize Velika Novosilka, trying to cut off the road from Zeleni Pol and occupy the settlement without street battles.
In addition, the Russian army bypasses Pokrovsk from the south, approaching the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. Currently, the enemy is moving in the direction of Kotlyny and Udachny, located on the Mezhova-Pokrovsk highway.
According to the spokesman of the operational-strategic group of troops “Khortytsia” by Viktor Tregubov, the occupiers have a numerical advantage and are conducting active offensive actions, trying to capture nearby villages for a partial encirclement of Pokrovsk.
Serhii Dobryak, the head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, reported a sharp increase in shelling of the city by Russian troops. Currently, the enemy is less than three kilometers from the city.
Fierce fighting continues in Toretsk. The enemy uses tactics “scorched earth”, destroying the urban infrastructure and the positions of the Ukrainian military.
