The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR), with the assistance of the SBU, exposed on the bribe of the head of one of the units of the tax service of the Kirovograd region.
The deputy head of the department of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service was detained in February 2025. Together with other officials, he received 200 thousand hryvnias from a representative of a private enterprise, which sells agricultural products.
These funds were transferred to the tax service commission to register stopped tax invoices. In the absence of a bribe, this decision should be made automatically. As a result, the company received a tax credit worth UAH 5.9 million.
Earlier, we wrote that on suspicion of obtaining a bribe of the DBR detained the acting mayor of one of the settlements of Rivne region and a deputy of the city council. They demanded a bribe from the entrepreneur in the form of free transfer to them a land plot of 0.38 hectares worth more than UAH 1.3 million.
