The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv decided to continue a preventive measure in the form of detention of the Chief Psychiatrist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Druzia by June 15, 2025.
The court session took place on April 17, as the court press service reported. As before, friends have the opportunity to get free, making a pledge of UAH 49 million.
This is not the first continuation of the arrest for the main military psychiatrist. Earlier, March 17, the court left friends in a pre -trial detention center until April 21. Suspicion applies to corruption and illegal enrichment.
According to the investigation, after the start of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation in 2022, a family of friends acquired unreasonable assets worth more than $ 1 million, which is more than UAH 49 million.
Among the property that appears in the case – four BMW X series cars, two land plots in the Kiev region, as well as two apartments in Kyiv and Odessa region with a total area of more than 120 square meters.
Sources familiar with the investigation also report the possible availability of property in Turkey. In particular, in 2024, a friend visited this country twice, where, according to investigators, he tried to buy a three -storey villa with a basin worth 650 thousand euros.
The story of the case dates back to January 21, 2025, when the SBU detained Oleg friends, who held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Medical Commission and resolved the issue of the military.
The next day, January 22, the court sent the suspect with the possibility of bail. The lawyers of friends insisted on the illegality of detention and claimed that their client was in serious health.
The case also appears in the passion of friends – Georgy Sedov, who has Russian citizenship. He recently tried to arrest from the luxury crossover of the BMW X7 2022 through court, claiming that he had purchased it at his own expense.
However, the Court of Appeal refused to grant this request. Friends’ wife, Olga Sedova, is also Russian, although she has already received Ukrainian citizenship. According to the media, she earlier owned an apartment in Moscow, which she sold in 2012 for 12.8 million Russian rubles.
