The Kyiv Court of Appeal decided to leave the former chief of the Odessa Regional Territorial Center for the Acquisition and Social Support of Yevgeny Borisov. He is suspected of laundering criminal property in the amount of more than UAH 140 million.
According to the court, on April 15, 2025, the panel of judges considered appeals against the decision of the investigating judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, which continued the suspect in custody until May 18, 2025, including the possibility of bail in the amount of 179 863 200 UAH.
In the case of pledge on the suspect, the duties specified in part five of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine will be entrusted.
It should be noted that the suspicion concerns the commission of several criminal offenses provided for in part 3 of Article 27, part one of Article 114-1, part 3 of Article 27 and part one of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier, we wrote that the DBR had sent an indictment against the former chief of the Odessa regional shopping center Yevgeny Borisov. He is charged with laundering criminal property in the amount of more than UAH 140 million.
It should also be reminded that on April 7, a 49-year-old resident of Kirovograd, who worked at the local district center of acquisition and social support, died in the intensive care unit of the Reni City Hospital. In his blood, traces of methadone were detected.
