According to the National Police, in September 2024, police officers of the Chernivtsi region together with colleagues of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed three residents of Chernivtsi involved in the arson of relay cabinets on the railway.
Currently, the Sadgir District Court of Chernivtsi has completed the consideration of the materials of the pre -trial investigation and found the persons guilty of the crime under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part. 113 (diversion committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons in the conditions of martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the court’s sentence, saboteurs will be held after the lattice for the next 15 years. In addition, the Bukovinians should recover almost one million hryvnias.
