The head of one of the departments of the State Intelligence Service was ordered to take a preventive measure in the form of a bail amount and another official was given bail in the amount of . Both are assigned the corresponding procedural duties.
We will remind, in general, two officials of the State Special Communications Service and two representatives of private companies were informed of the suspicion of the embezzlement of funds in particularly large amounts (part. Art. of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to mass media, suspicions were received by the head of the Department of Security of the State Special Communications Service, Volodymyr Mokrenko, and another official of the service, Vadym Borsuk. State Special Communications officials together with representatives of private companies inflated the prices of DJI and Autel drones, and some of the funds were taken abroad.
Also, NABU and SAP reported the suspicion to five persons, including former officials of the Ministry of Social Policy, State Special Communications and the Pension Fund. According to the investigators, they are involved in a corruption scheme for the purchase of software for the Ministry of Social Policy, which caused more than UAH 29 million in losses to the state budget.
