One of them explained that he ran into a TCC employee who was standing near the checkpoint there because of a faulty brake, but then he returned to the place of the collision to see who exactly he had hit.
The accused also stated that the employees of the Military Commissariat illegally stood at the checkpoint and provoked the conflict themselves. And the suspect explained the attack with an ax as his anger towards the employees of the TCC because of his son who had disappeared at the front.
At the same time, one of the injured employees of the TCC told the court that when he and his colleagues were at the post, a 43-year-old man from Bukovyna approached them and threatened them to leave the post, and then went to a nearby village. A few minutes later, his brother rode up on a horse with an ax on his shoulder and asked about the reasons for the dispute. At that time, the victim saw a car speeding towards him. The man managed to jump aside, but injured his leg and pelvis.
In the end, the 43-year-old resident of Bukovyna was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison, and the 28-year-old was sentenced to 3 years and 3 months behind bars.
