For 15 years, a resident of Donetsk region received prison, who transferred data on the Armed Forces to the occupiers.
According to the SBU, it is a 33-year-old employee of the House of Culture in the city of Novogrodivka, who transferred to the occupiers the combat positions of defense forces in the most hot direction of the front-Pokrovsky.
According to the SBU counterintelligence, then the enemy was most interested in the geolocation of fortifications, posts and artillery positions of Ukrainian troops. To collect the intelligence, a woman over the route taxi overcame hundreds of kilometers in the areas of Kurakhov, Mirnograd, Novogrodivka, Selidovo and Mikhailivka.
There she hidden locations of the Armed Forces and transmitted the coordinates to her Russian curator with the FSB. His identity has already been established by the Security Service. Documented as a traitor sent him agent “reports” in the form of marks on electronic maps with the name of objects.
The SBU counterintelligence took comprehensive measures to protect the locations of Ukrainian defenders and detained the FSB agent in its premises. During the search, she seized a mobile phone with an anonymous chat, which she used for contacts with the FSB.
According to the investigation, the woman was in the field of view of the invaders in the fall of 2023, when she published anti-Ukrainian comments in telegrams. After one of these “posts”, a staffing officer of the FSB was released in the messenger and offered cooperation in exchange for “privileges”, which he promised to her in case of capture of the region.
According to the materials of the Security Service, the court found the agent guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law).
Earlier in Ternopil and Cherkasy, three cars were detained, which operated on the Russian Federation. They searched for easy earnings on social networks, and their goals were cars that were maintained after performing combat missions on the front line.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained a man in Transcarpathia, who set fire to the cars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Red Cross Society to fulfill the order of Russian special services.
