President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that countries have different priority of participation in the future post -war restoration of Ukraine. Those who helped the Russian Federation will not allow this process.
The Head of State reported this while communicating with journalists.
“There will be no one who helped Russia. This is a fact. How could you help, destroy to earn it now? It is completely illogical, ”Zelensky said.
He noted that “there is a priority of countries that will participate in the rebuilding of Ukraine – these are the countries that helped Ukraine during the war.”
“Of course, finances. Weapons are the same finances. Either weapons, or it is energy, or it is a direct revenue into the budget of Ukraine. There are also many countries that funded the regions of our country, helping everyone. For example, Japan did not give weapons, but we understand how much 15 billion was funded in Ukraine’s sustainability, especially energy. That is, there is a priority of countries, they will be engaged in reconstruction, ”the head of state explained.
This procedure was introduced because “the reconstruction will not be carried out for free” and therefore the priority will be in EU countries, the President added.
“It’s money. Which? First of all, the money of the European Union. European countries. This means that it is first and foremost companies of the European Union. It will look just strange that Europe is financed, and people from other markets come and rebuild. I say who priority, ”he said.
He also reported that priority is in the United States.
“And the Americans are absolutely rightly said, well, sorry, those who do not help, and why should they earn? There is no altruism here and altruism has not been manifested in Ukraine by certain countries. This does not mean that someone will be forbidden. We may not advise our regions to have joint projects with countries that have not helped Ukraine in any way, ”Zelensky added.
Earlier, Ukraine was transferred to the Turkish side of a dossier for projects planned by 2025, and projects that need urgent solution will be announced on a tender in April-May.
The Head of the Polish Government Donald Tusk said Poland has started working on the development of the Railway Terminal “Slavkov” in the Silesian Voivodeship (South of the Country). This will help in the future reconstruction of Ukraine.
