261 deputies voted in favor of the resignation, 0, 4 abstained, 55 people’s deputies were registered in the hall, but did not vote at all.
Denis Schmigal has headed the government since March 2020, setting a record for the duration of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Earlier, Shmigal wrote an official resignation statement.
President Zelensky offers Yulia Sviridenko to the post of new premiere. It is a valid first vicereme and ministerial economy.
Sviridenko thanked Zelensky for his trust and declared his readiness to serve the country.
