It is about Bill 13697, which proposes to eliminate legal mechanisms that allow foreign citizens and international organizations to participate in the formation of public authorities and management of state -owned objects.
Namely suggested:
- exclusion from the legislation of provisions that provide for the participation of foreign experts in the formation of judicial and control (law enforcement) bodies;
- the return of the subject of management of state property of the right to determine the position of the state in the activities of the supervisory boards of state -owned enterprises;
- consolidation of the principle that members of supervisory boards operate on behalf of the state and in its interests;
- elimination of the practice of involving foreign citizens as independent members of supervisory boards of state -owned enterprises.
Instead, deputies propose to introduce the National Assembly of Heroes of Ukraine as a permanent advisory and advisory body, which in the cases specified by law participates in the formation of state bodies and control over their activities.
The Assembly includes citizens of Ukraine, who were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine for participation in hostilities to protect state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and who consent to participate in its work.
The bill was initiated by a group of people’s deputies mainly from the Batkivshchyna faction.

The trust in the competitions in the judicial authorities and the anti -corruption bodies of Ukraine remains in question. And the presence of unprepared international experts in commissions only adds doubts.
