Only 82 People’s Deputies supported the corresponding initiative.

“The Verkhovna Rada did not support requests to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the situation surrounding the 155th Anna Kyiv Brigade,” she wrote.
In particular, only 41 representatives from the Servant of the People faction voted in support of the initiative, Herashchenko explained.
Earlier, the French media, referring to the military who trained the Ukrainian brigade “Anna of Kyiv” in France before it was sent to the front, reported on “several dozen” cases of desertion among Ukrainians during training.
Yuriy Butusov, editor-in-chief of the “Censor.NET” publication, announced on Facebook that the State Bureau of Investigation in December 2024 opened a criminal investigation into the circumstances of the formation of the 155th mechanized brigade “Anna Kyivska”, which entered the battle near Pokrovsk.
The journalists said that one of the leaders responsible for the formation of the brigade died of a heart attack, and the brigade commander was dismissed immediately after the brigade entered the battle.
Before the brigade fired the first shot, 1,700 servicemen voluntarily left it. Butusov also cited data that more than 50 servicemen escaped from the new brigade in France during the training phase.
The SBI later confirmed that they are studying the facts presented in the mass media as part of the criminal proceedings initiated under Art. 426-1 (exceeding authority or official authority by a military person) and Art. 408 (desertion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, has already commented on the situation surrounding the 155th separate mechanized brigade “Anna Kyivska”.
Also, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykhailo Drapaty stated that during the formation and arming of the 155th mechanized brigade “Anna Kyivska” improper management and imperfect planning of training were allowed. He called the “difficult” situation with the SDF in the brigade and pointed out that it is a consequence of the low efficiency of the middle-ranking commanders.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian defense in the Pokrovsk region of the Donetsk region will be strengthened by one of the newly created units – the 155th mechanized brigade, which is equipped with German Leopard 2 tanks and French Caesar howitzers.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi ordered to strengthen the unit of unmanned systems of the 155th brigade and to solve “problematic issues” in it.
