On Friday, December 20, the automobile checkpoint at the Ukrainian-Polish border “Nyzhankovychi – Malkhovychy” will open.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
As Shmyhal noted, starting from December 20, the checkpoint on the border with Poland “Nyzhankovychy – Malkhovychy” will be open.
This decision was approved by a corresponding agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Poland, Shmyhal informed.
The point will be open for passenger and freight traffic, and the passage of pedestrians will begin after the construction of the corresponding infrastructure.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister emphasized that the opening of a new checkpoint will reduce the burden on the existing ones. It also expands Ukrainian export opportunities.
It should be noted that on September 29, the crossing point on the border with Poland “Nyzhankovichi – Malkhovichi” temporarily stopped working.
