The Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has started an official investigation due to the premature publication of the decision to reject the appeal of former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov regarding the preventive measure.
The judges regarded the publication as a possible attempt to interfere with justice and turned to the High Council of Justice and the Prosecutor General to assess the situation. According to judge Danyila Chornenko, the official check showed that the person who made the publication checked the accounting and statistical card, where there was no draft decision, but published the information anyway.
At the same time, Olesya Chemerys, head of the communications department of VAX, announced her dismissal, noting that she had completed more than six years of work at the court.
Former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov for a short time was in the pretrial detention center, bail was posted for him.
It will be recalled that on November 18, during the selection of a preventive measure, Oleksiy Chernyshov reported that he did not have the money to post bail for himself.
