The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the updated procedure for the appointment and payment of one-time cash benefits in case of death or disability of certain categories of persons. The main changes include simplifying the process of submitting an application for assistance.

Now, applicants can submit an application through the Centers for the Provision of Administrative Services (TsNAP), and in the future, after the implementation of the electronic cabinet, such an application will be able to be submitted through the Diya portal or the Unified State Register of War Veterans. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs will be responsible for making decisions on the payment of assistance and the transfer of funds directly to the recipient’s bank account.
This resolution also defines the authority of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs to coordinate work with other state and local authorities to ensure payments.
