Ukrainians with children will increase their payments. The bill “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Supporting Families with Children and Creation of Conditions that contribute to the combination of paternity with professional activity” has been approved.

“The project of the Law” On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Supporting Families with Children and Creation of conditions that contribute to the combination of paternity with professional activity, has been approved, “Melnychuk said.
According to him, the bill proposes to provide in the order and the amount determined by the Cabinet of Ministers:
- assistance to women in pregnancy and childbirth (according to the Ministry of Social Policy, the amount of assistance will be 7 thousand UAH per child per month for women who are not insured in the system of compulsory state social insurance);
- one -time assistance at birth of the first and each subsequent child in the amount of UAH 50 thousand;
- child care assistance until one of the parents of the child, guardian, grandmother, grandfather or other relative who actually carries out care of the child;
- child care assistance (reimbursement of the cost of childcare care services, other legal entities of public or private right or individuals who carry out educational activities in the field of preschool education) to one of the parents or other legal representative who actually carried out the care of the child;
- One -time financial assistance to first -grade students “Package of the Student” for one parent for each child.
The law also stipulates that in the case of demand and lack of places for pre -school education in institutions, their founders at the expense of local budgets are obliged to compensate for (in whole or in part) to parents the funds paid for their children of preschool education, or to provide funding for children.
We will remind, earlier the Pension Fund of Ukraine announced that new assistance for families with children will start in Ukraine. The experimental project is designed for low -income families with children.
A new type of payment is introduced in accordance with the experimental project of the Cabinet, which provides basic social assistance to low -income families.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada approved amendments to the law, which guarantee servicemen the right to receive monetary compensation for all unused days of annual basic and additional leave in the event of dismissal from service during martial law.
We have also reported that on June 3, the Verkhovna Rada supported the first reading of the Bill No. 13266, which provides for the establishment of the Institute of Military Ombudsman.
