The Cabinet of Ministers Indexed Pensions, Payments will increase by 11.5%

Today, on March 25, the Cabinet of Ministers at the meeting indexed pension payments. Pensions increased by 11.5% for more than 10 million Ukrainians.

This was reported by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal.

After indexation, the average pension will be 6345 UAH. All pensions for March have already been paid.

“From April 1, we automatically index payments for almost 630 thousand working pensioners according to their updated insurance experience,” Shmigal said.

Earlier, experts of “Legal Advisor for IDPs” told how pensions in Ukraine will change from March 1 after indexation. On February 25, the Cabinet of Ministers made a decision to index pensions, payments should increase for more than 10 million citizens.

Prior to that, the Pension Fund of Ukraine completed the financing of pensions for February 2025. The amount of UAH 62.2 billion was allocated for pension payments.

Earlier, we wrote that the pensions of security forces are ten times higher than that of the rest of the citizens. One of the reasons is the courts that help to bypass payments, the other is a disability status, which also entitles additional payments.
