The government approved changes to the functioning of the educational mobile application “Mriya”, expanding its possibilities for use in preschool education.

The relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1334 was approved on October 23.

According to the decision, the Ministry of Digital Transformation must ensure the technical modernization of the platform within seven months so that the application can be used in the educational process of kindergartens.

The Ministry of Education and Science is obliged to update the software and hardware complex “Automated Information Complex of Educational Management” within five months and to provide the Ministry of Digitization with a list of at least five preschool education institutions that will pilot the “Dream” in the 2025/26 academic year.

Also, within two months, both ministries must appoint representatives to the commission, which will deal with the selection of partners for the development of the project.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko explained that the new version of the application – “Dream. Preschool” – will provide educators with convenient tools for recording attendance, classes, meals and sleep, and parents will have transparent access to information about the child’s studies and progress.

“We are laying the foundation for national gamification in “Mriya”. The business will be able to support the development of children and youth by providing bonuses for educational achievements. In addition, Mriya will become an open platform for content, where teachers and companies will be able to publish their own materials,” said Svyridenko.

According to her, during the year of work of “Mriya” teachers gave more than 11 million grades, 5 million absence marks, viewed the planning page more than 3.5 million times and added 2.5 million homework assignments.

Google on September 11 announced about selection 1.5 million dollars to support the Ukrainian project “Mriya” – a state educational ecosystem for teachers, children and their parents.
