At a meeting on February 25, the Cabinet of Ministers considered “a number of important decisions for our stability.” It is a continuation by March 31, the deferral of booked workers, pension indexations and drug discounts on drugs.
Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this in the telegram.
- Until March 31, we continue the deferral of booked workers. In this way, businesses will have time to confirm the status of critically important according to the updated criteria, as well as in order to release their staff.
- From March 1, we have an indexation of pensions. For more than 10 million citizens, the pension will increase by 11.5%. The minimum increase in pensions will be at least 100 UAH. And to fairly distribute the financial resource and increase the smallest pensions, we introduce the maximum indexation amount – up to 1500 UAH.
- We regulate the issue of discounts in pharmacies for drugs for patients with chronic diseases and individual programs for access to medication.
Earlier, we wrote that pharmacy retailers responded to President Zelensky’s accusations that there were crazy prices for medicines in Ukraine and signed a declaration on the availability of medicines.
