On July 8, Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, who won the competition for the post of director of the Bureau of Economic Security, called the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to reject his candidacy as “does not comply with the law”.
Before that, the Cabinet of Ministers reported that he considered the submission of the commission from the selection of the Director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine on the appointment of the Bab Director, and also studied additional materials “provided in particular by the Security Service of Ukraine concerning national security issues and containing appropriate security estimates.”
The Government proposed the commission “to submit no more than two candidates that will meet all the requirements, including security criteria.”
On June 24, the competition commission for the selection of the Director of the Bureau of Economic Security has decided to submit to Prime Minister Denis Schmigal the candidacy of the finalist-Alexander Tsin.
