The average salary of full-time employees in Ukraine in October 2025 increased by 1.1% compared to September and amounted to UAH 26,913, the State Statistics Service reports.
The highest salaries were recorded in Kyiv (40,738 UAH), Luhansk (30,675 UAH) and Dnipropetrovsk (27,892 UAH) regions. The smallest are in Chernivtsi (19,343 UAH), Kirovohrad (19,920 UAH) and Chernihiv (20,561 UAH) regions.
By industry, the highest level of wages in October was in the field of information and telecommunications (65,047 UAH), and the lowest – in education (16,984 UAH).
The average registered number of full-time employees in October was 5.339 million people, which is 0.2% less than in September. Of them, 1.205 million people worked in industry (-0.2% compared to September).
Arrears for the payment of salaries as of November 1, 2025 amounted to UAH 3.7 billion.
