The average salary has increased in Ukraine, which is taken into account for the calculation of pensions

The average salary in March, from which insurance premiums were paid and which is taken into account for the calculation of the pension, increased to UAH 19 430 from 18 589 UAH in February. The average salary in March, from which insurance premiums were paid and which is taken into account for the calculation of the pension, increased to UAH 19 430 from 18 589 UAH in February.

This was reported by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).

“On April 25, 2025, the Pension Fund of Ukraine approved the average wage (income) in Ukraine, from which insurance premiums were paid and which, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine“ On Compulsory State Pension Insurance ”, it is taken into account for the calculation of a pension, for March 2025. It is 19 430 UAH 52 pennies, ”the message reads.

According to published data, this figure in February 2025 amounted to 18 589 UAH, in January – 18 660 UAH.

On March 25, the Cabinet of Ministers at the meeting indexed pension payments. Pensions increased by 11.5% for more than 10 million Ukrainians.

Earlier, we wrote that the pensions of security forces are ten times higher than that of the rest of the citizens. One of the reasons is the courts that help to bypass payments, the other is a disability status, which also entitles additional payments. In the Cabinet and Council, they want to reform and equalize payments for all Ukrainians.
