In Ukraine, for the second month in a row, the indicator of the average salary, which is used to calculate pensions, is increasing.
For October 2025, it is 21,578 UAH 46 kopecks, the Pension Fund of Ukraine reports.
For comparison, in September this figure was 21,190 hryvnias, so the increase for the month was 388 hryvnias. The highest level in 2025 was recorded in June — UAH 22,336.
Since the beginning of the year, the monthly indicators were as follows:

As of November 27, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has already financed tens of billions of hryvnias in social benefits:

pensions — UAH 68 billion (UAH 9 billion through Ukrposhta, UAH 59 billion through banks);
-
housing subsidies and benefits — UAH 2.6 billion;
-
insurance payments — UAH 3 billion (including UAH 1.8 billion for sick leave);
-
state aid and other social payments — UAH 8.4 billion.
In November, PFU bodies provided more than 1.35 million services to citizens.

Also, almost a third of Ukrainian pensioners receive a pension that is twice as low as the average.
