The Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital will develop steps for digitalization of military medical commissions within two weeks.
This was discussed at a meeting on the implementation of the MSEK reform chaired by the deputy head of the OP Iryna Vereshchuk, the press service of the President’s Office informs.
It is noted that the main topic of the meeting was the draft law of the Ministry of Health on reforming the system of assigning disability status and liquidating the MSEK, which should soon be considered at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
Representatives of the Ministry of Health spoke about the introduction of a system for assessing a person’s daily functioning for the purpose of assigning disability. In addition, a plan for digitalization of the corresponding process was proposed, which involves three stages, the first of which should begin on January 1 next year.
“Special attention was paid at the meeting to the reform of the military medical commissions, in particular thanks to the reduction of bureaucracy and the creation of a transparent process of passing the VLK. This will make it possible to shorten queues and relieve commissions. Within two weeks, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital will develop steps to digitize the VLK,” the message reads.
The press service informs that the event was held with the participation of government officials, representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the NSDC Apparatus and public organizations that care for people with disabilities.
Earlier we wrote that the Government approved the draft law, which provides for the liquidation of medical and social expert commissions (MSEK) from January 1. Instead of MSEK, there will be teams of practicing doctors who will work in the strongest hospitals of a capable network of medical facilities.
