The US-German company Auterion will put tens of thousands of shock kits for artificial intelligence in Ukraine. These sets turn ordinary drones into autonomous combat platforms .
As reported Financial Times Auterion CEO Lorenz Mayer, by the end of the year, the company will put 33,000 such systems, and this will be the highest delivery of such systems for the whole time – 10 times more than before.
It is noted that the transfer is made under the Auterion contract with a Pentagon of $ 50 million, which is part of the US Security Assistance to Ukraine. At the same time, Mayer noted that this contract is not part of the Megaugoid of Ukraine and the United States about the drones reported last week.
The supply will include Skynode mini-computers with their own software, camera and radio module, which turn ordinary drones into autonomous combat platforms, resistant to muffins and are able to pursue targets up to 1 km.
According to Mayer, Auterion software will allow to “reach a new level in military business”, allowing groups of autonomous drones to work and coordinate with each other.
