Afternoon temperatures will range from -2° in the south to -13° in the west, with moderate north-easterly winds increasing the feeling of frost.
The west of Ukraine will be at the epicenter of the frost — thermometers will drop to -11°…-13° in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil. In Transcarpathia, it will be somewhat milder — 0°…-2°, which will make it possible to avoid critical minuses.
Dry, without snow, only sunny gaps will dispel the gloomy mood. Residents should dress warmly, because the wind makes the cold biting.
In the north, severe -10°…-13° will prevail in Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Sumy Oblast, with clear skies during the day. In the center of Kyiv, it will be -11° during the day and up to -16° at night, without precipitation, but with gloomy clouds.
In Dnipro and Kropyvnytskyi, the temperature will reach -7°…-11°, which will ease the situation a little. The wind is weak – 1-3 m/s, but the frost penetrates to the bones.
Eastern regions will face -7° in Donetsk region to -13° in Kharkiv, without snow and with clearing. The south will be the warmest — -4°…-6° in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia, with dry weather.
Light snow is possible only in Crimea, the temperature is -2°…-4°. The wind is gusty up to 10 m/s, which will make movement difficult.
