American company Auterionspecializing in the development of software for UAVs, announced the successful completion of the project Artemis on the creation of a long-range kamikaze drone. This is an American-Ukrainian analogue of the Shahed drone with AI and homing.

This drone, called Artemis ALM-20, was created jointly with a Ukrainian company (which is not named for security reasons). It has already undergone full-scale testing, which, according to the company’s statement, “included launch from the ground, GPS and non-GPS navigation, long-range transit and ground activation.”
The main characteristics of the drone:
- Range — 1600 km.
- The weight of the warhead — 45 kg.
- Guidance — visualusing algorithms artificial intelligence (AI).
According to the report Defense Expressthe drone has already been tested for targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, and its production is being launched in Ukraine, the USA and Germany.
It was previously reported that the American-German company Auterion will supply Ukraine with 33,000 “shock kits” with artificial intelligence for drones by the end of the year.
As a reminder, Norway is investing €400 million in Ukrainian-made drones.
Also, Ukraine is ready to buy all interceptor drones from domestic manufacturers.
