The battalion emphasized that the media widespread information about Kryvyi’s alleged service in their benches is false. The military urged the public to critically treat the news that is spreading on social networks and other sources, and to check the facts in order not to be a victim of provocations.
The battalion’s statement emphasizes: “We always stand for our country’s defense, and continue to fulfill our duties with honor and dignity.”
Thus, the military was distinguished from any accusations that could throw a shadow on their reputation and emphasized their dedication to the service and the state.
Recall that in 2024 the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine exposed a large -scale scheme of theft of funds that were intended to restore the critical infrastructure of Kharkiv.
According to the investigation, the organizer of this scheme is the “influential businessman”, who together with the first deputy general director of KP “Kharkiv thermal networks” concluded direct contracts with controlled companies for the supply of pipes, windows and technical salt.
As investigators were installed, the products were purchased through a number of gas stations and resected by a utility company at a price that was more than twice the market. As a result of this equipment, the state was harmed in the amount of UAH 159.5 million.
The media, in particular RBC-Ukraine, with reference to their own sources claimed that it was about Sergey Kryvyi.
In the fall of 2024, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court suspended the hearing of the Kryvyi case. The reason was that the businessman’s lawyer filed a corresponding request, referring to the mobilization of Kryvyi to the Armed Forces.
However, the Anticor portal recently published information that Kryvyi is a serviceman of the 501st Marine Corps Battalion and “serves in the rear and almost does not appear in the service.”
This information was categorically denied in the unit, stressed that they have nothing to do with Kryvyi.
