Syrsky said that he told the broker about the operational situation on the front line, measures to move to the corps structure and expressed gratitude to Germany for his help.
“They discussed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in arms, ammunition, military and special equipment, as well as the preparation of the Ukrainian military,” the Armed Forces said.
According to him, during the meeting the issue of maintenance and repair of military equipment of German production, which is in service with the Ukrainian army, was considered.
It is worth noting that Germany is one of the key allies of Ukraine. Berlin gave Ukraine tanks, artillery, other armored equipment, ammunition, drones, air defense, demining and counteraction to drones. In addition, the Ukrainian military is trained in Germany.
The German government has updated the list of military assistance provided to Ukraine. According to him, the Armed Forces received additional armored vehicles, missiles for air defense and other ammunition.
The President of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen during a speech at the annual EU diplomat conference stated that the European Union should accelerate the delivery of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.
